Dr. Lingfang Zeng received his B.S. from Huazhong
University of Science and Technology (HUST),
Wuhan, China in 2000, M.S. from China University of Geoscience, China in 2003
and PhD in computer architecture, from HUST in 2006. Then he joined HUST in 2006
as Assistant Professor and then promoted to Associate Professor in 2009. He was
a Visiting Professor for 2 years in the Zentrum für Datenverarbeitung, Johannes
Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany, during 2016~2018. He was Postdoc Research Fellow
for 4 years in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National
University of Singapore, during 2007~2008 and 2010~2013. He now is a principal investigator
of the Research Center for Intelligent Computing System, AI Research Institute
at Zhejiang Lab, focusing on the
research of emerging non-volatile memories and storage systems, big data and
computational intelligence, and privacy-enhanced information storage. He
published more than 60 papers in major journals, including TPDS, ToS, JPDC,
TNSM and at international conferences, such as FAST, SC, SIGMOD, MSST, CLUSTER,
CCGrid, etc. He has authored and co-authored one book and two book chapters. He
has participated in the development of two industry standards (SJ/T 11526-2015
and SJ/T 11527-2015) and been granted 21 patents ( and other pending 11). He is
a member of IEEE, ACM, CAAI, and CCF Senior Member. He was appointed as the CCF
Distinguished Speaker in 2019. He was on the Storage Challenge Finalist at
ACM/IEEE SC06. Dr. Zeng is currently serving in the Review Board of IEEE Transactions on
Parallel and Distributed Systems.
