Dr. Lingfang Zeng received his B.S. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China in 2000, M.S. from China University of Geoscience, China in 2003 and PhD in computer architecture, from HUST in 2006. Then he joined HUST in 2006 as Assistant Professor and then promoted to Associate Professor in 2009. He was a Visiting Professor for 2 years in the Zentrum für Datenverarbeitung, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany, during 2016~2018. He was Postdoc Research Fellow for 4 years in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, during 2007~2008 and 2010~2013. He now is currently with Zhejiang Lab as a full professor and with Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an adjunct professor. His research interests include emerging non-volatile memories and storage systems, big data and computational intelligence, and privacy-enhanced information storage. He published more than 60 papers in major journals, including IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, ACM Transactions on Storage, IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management and at international conferences, such as FAST, SC, SIGMOD, MSST, IPDPS, CLUSTER, CCGrid, etc. He has authored and co-authored one book and two book chapters. He has participated in the development of two industry standards (SJ/T 11526-2015 and SJ/T 11527-2015) and been granted 25 patents ( and other pending 11). He was appointed as the CCF Distinguished Speaker in 2019 and CCF Distinguished Member in 2021. He was on the Storage Challenge Finalist at ACM/IEEE SC06. Dr. Zeng is currently serving in the Editorial Board of Journal of High-Performance Storage (JHPS) and was in the Review Board of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS).


Dr. Lingfang Zeng selected by the Zhejiang provincial "Ten Thousand Talents Program" as a "Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talent" in 2021. He got breakthrough ¥0.11 billion fund for a "Heterogeneous Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer" project aimed at combining hot domain specific architectures (DSAs) technology with deep neural networks (DNNs) training in the last year.
