Prof. Dr. Lingfang Zeng is currently with Zhejiang Lab as a full professor
and with the College of Computer Science
and Technology, Zhejiang University, as an
adjunct professor. He is the head of ZJ Lab-Enflame Joint Innovation Research
Center, whose main goal is to R&D advanced AI chips and build large
energy-saving intelligent computers with cutting-edge technology. He received
his B.S. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan,
China in 2000, M.S. from China University of Geoscience, China
in 2003 and PhD in computer architecture, from HUST in 2006. Then he joined HUST
in 2006 as Assistant Professor and then promoted to Associate Professor in 2009.
He was a Visiting Professor for 2 years
in the Zentrum für Datenverarbeitung, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany,
during 2016~2018. He was Postdoc Research Fellow for 4 years in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore,
during 2007~2008 and 2010~2013. His research interests include AI chip, emerging
non-volatile memories and storage systems, big data and computational
intelligence, and privacy-enhanced information storage. He published more than 100
papers in major journals, including IEEE Transactions on Parallel and
Distributed Systems, ACM Transactions on Storage, IEEE Transactions on
Computers, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE
Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, Transactions on Information
Forensics & Security, IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, Journal of Parallel
and Distributed Computing, Journal of Systems Architecture, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE
Transactions on Network and Service Management, Information Sciences and at
international conferences, such as FAST, SC, SIGMOD, MSST, IPDPS, CLUSTER,
CCGrid, ICCD, etc. He has authored and co-authored one book and two book
chapters. He has participated in the development of 11 industry standards
and been granted 50 patents. Prof. Zeng
is a member of CCF Board. He is the CCF Distinguished Speaker, the CCF Distinguished Member, and the
member of IEEE and ACM. He was on the Storage Challenge Finalist at ACM/IEEE
SC06. Dr. Zeng is currently serving in the Editorial
Board of Journal of High-Performance
Storage (JHPS) and was in the Review
Board
of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS) during 2020-2021.
